My name is Chris Rombola. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Sports Nutritionist. More importantly, I have the real life experience of having trained and changed the lives of hundreds of people. Some of these amazing success stories can be seen in the testimonial section.
I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and lifted my first weights as a freshmen in high school. I was a skinny, string bean kid with dreams of becoming a professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment – although I was a much more likely candidate to be blown away by a big gust of wind! After joining the school wrestling team and losing every single match, I trepidatiously made my way into the school weight room, and haven’t turned back since.
From that point on I began to devour every piece of exercise related information that I possibly could. I ate, breathed, slept, and dreamt it! Soon all my hard work began to pay off as I began to develop muscle, self-confidence, and a positive attitude that I carry with me to this day.
After graduation from the University at Buffalo, my life long dream was fulfilled as I was hired by the WWE. I packed my life up and moved to Atlanta, GA and then Louisville, KY where I wrestled for the WWE for two and a half years in their Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling Territories. I have had the privilege of training with Al Snow, Bill Demott, William Regal, and countless more during this time.
Although my greatest passion at one point, as time went on, I realized wrestling was not for me. I moved back to Buffalo and returned to my original passion, training. That was the day Chris Rombola Training was born. Since then, I have helped change the lives of over hundreds of women and men. Whether their goals were losing weight, toning up, building muscle, or making a lifestyle change, I have been part of making the seemingly impossible, possible. I love it!
I also entered into the world of bodybuilding in 2009 when I competed in the Natural Muscle Association Bodybuilding Competition. I won the Novice Heavyweight, Novice Overall, Open Heavyweight, and Open Overall. As a result I won my natural bodybuilding NMA pro-card.
Personal training is something I love and is the most rewarding endeavor I have ever been a part of. I look forward to continue guiding and changing the lives of anyone who is ready.
